Our Story – From Local Neighbors to Local Heroes

MoveSwift Group Ltd started with one simple idea – people in Plymouth needed fast, friendly help when moving & clearing out rubbish.

In 2009, our founder Adrian Kowalewski, a proud Plymothian, began with one van and a big dream: to make moving and clearing easy for everyone.

Our very first job was for an elderly neighbour in Torpoint. She needed her garage cleared the same day, and we went straight over to help. She called us her “heroes” – and that’s how MoveSwift’s story began.

Since then, we’ve grown into a small, trusted team that works across Plymouth, Plympton, Saltash, and Torpoint. We help with everything from house removals to waste clearance, always with care and respect.

We treat every box and piece of furniture as if it’s special, because it usually is. We’re proud to be fully licensed, 5-star google rated, and kind to the planet – recycling and donating whenever we can.

3. Swift & Safe Execution

On the day, our uniformed team arrives on time (you can even track us en route with a quick text update – “On our way!”). We come equipped: dollies, blankets, protective gear for your floors (yes, we bring carpet protectors and mattress bags) and tools for disassembly if needed. We handle all items with care – fragile pieces are padded and secured, waste is neatly collected without mess. You can relax while we do the heavy lifting.)

4. Customer Walk-through

Once the van is loaded or the clearance done, we do a walkthrough with you. We double-check we got everything you wanted and that you’re satisfied with how the space looks. 5. Eco-friendly Disposal & Follow-up
